Good middle ground between Velcro straps and cable ties. Difficult to determine the size of such things, but they easily wrap around my thumb. If you twist them too tight, they will open. They are easily crafted/remodeled for commonly used items without the sound of velcro and velcro or dirt/hair covering them. They are cute and can be used not only for cords but also for various things. Best suited for those with limited cable/cable needs who want to multitask and need cable protection. It's great and they've all been used.
