These bags are much better than just plastic grocery bags which may have holes or not cover the entire top to avoid accidentally throwing trash out of the bag. They are good for small trash cans that are usually found around the house. But the only complaint is that my bins are very tight. In a way, that's a good thing, as the litter is unlikely to end up in a bucket instead of a bag. But it can also be bad, as it's difficult to throw the bag in the trash in the first place. My recycle bin measures 6.25 x 9 inches around the top lid. If you have a larger lid size then I suspect it will not fit.
