Restored my 2007 Chevy Colorado's lost power and increased my mileage from 17mpg to 20mpg and it runs, idles and starts better than it has since I bought it before few months. I usually use original parts (ACDelco, for GM cars) but the Dorman was cheaper and easy to replace - the original lasted 8 years, even if the Dorman lasts another 4 years it takes less than 5 minutes to replace this one . Thing. Ordered the same part for a friend's 2002 GMC Envoy (6 cylinder 4.2 liter engine, based on my Chevy Colorado's 4 cylinder 2.9 liter engine) and fixed the rough idle,"Reduced engine power" and several codes. - This original part leaked oil from the electrical connector. After the replacement, this engine runs better than ever. Overall, this is an expensive and easily replaceable part that translates into better fuel economy, even if the original isn't completely broken yet. And in case you're wondering, this part should work on both the Chevy Colorado/GMC Canyon (4 and 5 cylinder) and the Chevy Trailblazer/GMC Envoy (6 cylinder).
