I'm so happy I went ahead and took a deep breath and then took the plunge. After years of playing around with standard double sided tape and little dots of tape, I finally spent the money on this awesome glue dispenser. The glue isn't really "sticky tape". It's the glue that separates from the paper backing when you apply it with this applicator. I don't care how it works or why it works, just that it works and works very well. Next time I buy glue rolls I want a type that dries invisibly so I can use it discreetly on parchment. But seriously, if the thought of spending money makes you cringe, just do it. For a moment it hurts like a band-aid being ripped off, but then it's over and you have a much better product that speeds up production.
