Review on New Balance Mens Recovery Running Men's Shoes for Athletic by Carlos Henley

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Comfort 4+ / Durability 1

They're really light, comfortable and great for indoor use, but mostly they're driving slippers with a sporty look. The lack of lateral support and minimal cushioning preclude its use as an IMO training or touring shoe - forget about running. Small rocks and gravel often get into or get stuck in the sole holes, and the soles are soft enough to pick up glass and other debris easily, and they glide more on tarmac than any other shoe I've had. I thought it might be normal for water shoes but they don't grip well enough and tend to slide on parking lanes, crosswalks etc when wet.

Pros
  • Good boot. No laces. Put on.
Cons
  • Deleted by finger in a few weeks. Not very durable.
