Review on The Celtic Collection: 25 Knitwear Designs for Men and Women by Barbara Simmons

This is a great book - you will be tempted to place it on your coffee table with picture books. It starts with a few pages about the history of the Celtic people and the Celtic landscape and adds a few pages at the end about the techniques used, yarn and needle transformations, etc. Patterns include braids and textures, intarsia and Faire Isle (twisted) color techniques. Great inspiration even though I never make any of the templates.
