My 1 year old is busy

As I suspected my daughter loves this toy. Pummel play is great because they "disappear" with no force, but when one side goes down the other side pops up again so you don't have to flip them like you would with traditional peg play. The musical side is fun. It's not quite the exact notes of the scale as you might expect, but I really like it because it creates a unique sound. Carrots go in and out easily. She hasn't quite mastered the magnetic bird and worms yet, but she finds it amusing when I use the bird to catch them for her and wiggle the worm until it rips it out of its beak. The gears spin easily and the frog clock is cute. The only thing I didn't think about when I bought it was that the worms are obviously smaller than the carrots, so she has more fun sticking the worms in the carrot holes and saying "ooh" when they fall in. So then I have to spend some time shaking the box until I can get it to fall out, but that doesn't matter. A bird magnet comes in handy if you can't get them to line up correctly. I got this as a first birthday present for my daughter and she absolutely loves it. We've only had it for about a month but it looks pretty good and I think it will last a long time. Ouch! Another thing I really like is that it comes with 2 mallets and 2 mallets so two people can hit it at the same time which is great for learning and playing together. Very happy with my purchase.
