Two of the three flash drives that I've ever used that were manufactured by Silicon Power turned out to be defective. On a different Silicon Power flash drive (another model, 32GB in size), there was an additional bug that was no less critical. At one point, all of the data or a portion of the data disappeared, or it deteriorated in an irretrievable way. I have decided not to purchase any further items from this particular company. Has some pros 1. Volume (16 Gigabytes). 2. USB3. 3. Moderate price (although other manufacturers have no worse prices). Having certain negative aspects Marriage! Initially, the flash drive became quite hot, and after several months of use, it started to occasionally block itself without any apparent cause (only the low-level formatting utility from the manufacturer helped prevent blocking). After the very first time that this was done (it could just be a coincidence), the flash drive stopped functioning in USB3 mode. When it is connected to the USB3 port, the computer does not recognize the flash drive in any way; however, when it is connected to the USB2 port, the computer does recognize it (I saw this for the first time). Eventually, the flash drive started entering the lock whenever there was an attempt made to write to it.
