If only the dimmer/switch was higher on the cord

The only thing I don't like is that the dimmer sits near the end of the cord near the outlet. The problem with our layout is that the outlet is behind our section. So to access it I need to have a cut. I was hoping it would be taller so it would be easier to reach when descending against the wall. But I love the overall length and look, and I'm easily swapped out for hardware that comes with one touch.
