This compression garment does the compression portion but the sleeves for me were too short and would just sit in the crease of my elbow. After having a bilateral brachioplasty (arm lift ) the last thing you want is the pressure of the garment rolled into the crease of your arm. They placed a lace trim on the sleeves as well and it's very uncomfortable! I have a similar compression garment where the sleeves are 3/4 length lay in the mid forearm section and doesn't have any lace trim MUCH more comfortable that way. I did find this to run a little big bigger but during my healing the fluctuations in swelling it's hard to say what size I needed
