A little rough on the skin.
The shape is good for butterflies but if you try to draw a baby face they will be a bit rough. The texture was a bit abrasive and I was very gentle. They left lines and stains on the paint, which I buffed with powder and a brush. But the children did not find the sponges very comfortable.
