Review on Renewed HyperX Cloud Alpha Gaming Headset with Dual Chamber Drivers and Detachable Microphone for PC, PS4, PS4 PRO, Xbox One, and Xbox One S. by Anson Keith ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good value for money, I recommend.

Now in more detail about everything. Well, with the design and build quality, everything is clear, HyperX is on top of these parameters, as always. Also pleased with the quality of reproduction of high and medium frequencies, the sound is clear. In some headphones, for example, consonants such as "z" and "s" rip out the ears. HyperX Cloud Alpha is great in this regard. But the low frequencies did not show their best side, so fans of rich bass are unlikely to fall in love with this headset. Perhaps a good sound card will solve the situation with low frequencies, but I can’t say for sure. Well, now the most unpleasant thing is convenience. Everyone writes that the headphones are very comfortable and after long gatherings there is no discomfort. As soon as I didn’t put them on and as soon as I didn’t regulate them, I can’t stay in them for more than 2 hours. If someone is familiar with the structure of the ear from the outside, then you know what an antihelix is. So, it turns red and the headphones begin to rub heavily. I have the most ordinary head shape and the most ordinary ears, but this is some kind of horror. That's actually all I wanted to say. Of course, comfort is subjective. But I'm surprised that individually they didn't suit me. In the coming days I plan to hand over the headset, despite the fact that in many respects the headphones have exceeded all my expectations.

Pros
  • 1. Cool design 2. Build Quality 3. Crisp and clear sound
Cons
  • 1. Weak bass 2. They press and squeeze terribly (the most significant minus, which is described in detail in the comment)
