Worked great. Speakers saved!

USB-C female connector was used to replace a broken mini USB that came with the speaker. Works great and actually charges a bit faster with thicker wires. Add some silicone to seal it. Thick/textured speaker wall. The lock nut sticks out a bit, had to grind the inside edge to bring the threads together.
