I have a 2015 Chevy Impala that I bought used. The lightbulb on the passenger side burned out with a bang (well, a loud bang) in 2018, before the warranty expired. Dealer exchanged it. Now, 2020, the side light on the driver's side has failed. The retail cost for a replacement lamp is over $100. The cheapest Philip bulbs (OEM brand) at Revain are around $60 a pair. That's certainly over $100 for a single bulb, but due to the fact that 2 bulbs in the headlights had already failed in just 4 years of car ownership, I decided to give RCP bulbs a try. I haven't had any issues with the RCP lamp at this point (it's only been a few months). I see no difference in light output between this lamp and the Philips lamp I replaced. For the price of an RCP I can replace the bulb every year for the next 4 years and still break even on a pair of $60 Philip bulbs. Very important.
