The height range with wheels is 27.5-37.5 inches. I removed the wheels to reduce this by 2 inches. it has a permanent place in my home office. It's about as stable as a single post base can be. For the past two years, I've alternated between standing and sitting, working with a notepad next to my laptop. While this works with the curved service that the device comes with, it's impractical. For the last two years I have used different solutions and researched everything I could find online. The best I could find is one in the Herrington catalog for $270. For $48 I decided to try this first and I'm glad I did. If, like me, you find the curved surface inadequate, you can simply replace it with one that suits your needs. I spent $12 at Home Depot to buy a 12x24 shelf with 4 slot nuts (T-nuts can also be used) and a pack of #20 screws and 40 minutes of labor to convert the countertop to a rectangular one. Total cost $60, I have exactly the work surface I need. Great offer!
