Bought these brushes to remove weak paint on furniture being restored. I really like steel brushes to break up the clear coat and then I use copper brushes to remove paint from deep spots. small propane burner After I "trimmed" the stubble, it fit me perfectly. I would like to purchase a combination set of copper and steel brushes already "tapered and cut" to remove paint from chiseled woodwork. I modified them with a small propane flame. to remove the wires that followed the mess so the ends of the wires could easily get into the grooves of my project table legs. I have ordered more brushes and intend to modify them for different uses. They're surprisingly cheap and well-made considering they're ready to use.
