I ordered this product mainly to use my Bluetooth headphones while my wife sleeps in the same bed with me. Usually the TV is too loud for her to sleep well, so I put on my headphones. We're quite a distance from the TV when we go to bed, and I got tired of plugging a 20-foot cable into my headphones, so I settled on something with Bluetooth. I also have a soundbar, so I needed something that would allow me to easily switch to my headphones while disabling the soundbar. This product was really great when I first got it. It did exactly what I wanted and the audio in my headphones didn't break or stutter. The sound quality was just as good as when it was connected. I thought I found a great little product even after paying a premium price. It's been almost 6 months since I plugged them in and they had power. outage last night. You're completely dead. The culprit is the power system, which is just a USB charger connected to a cheap power adapter, with a tiny power cord to the device itself. When I first received this I was pleased with the quality, except for the cheap power system. However, it worked great out of the box and I gave up. After all, the device just sits on the table without disturbing it, and even a cheap cable had to be able to reliably power the device without movement or kinks. But of course I was wrong. It's a shame the makers of this product decided to make the performance part so cheap because everything else worked great when it worked. USB connection, switching between sound elements, connectors; everything worked fine. But I paid for it to run indefinitely, not just 6 months. I don't pay another $50 for 6 months use of a new one; Forget it. Build a better, more durable food system. I would pay money for something better.
