Well, the watch itself: Pros: Connected to satellites, phone, heart rate monitor very quickly. I really like how light it is. All in all I can't complain. It does the job and I love it, only more of my own custom settings, I wish they were a little different. Nothing that could really be fixed by snapping to a few stars etc. Cons: I wish there was a timer, heart rate, and also a distance screen. The toggling works, but I really wish I had shown these three combinations on screen in a specific order. Also, I'd like to automatically take you to the details screen when viewing history, but instead you have to click History > Activities > Yesterday (or find the day) > Details to see what the overall activity was. It should be easier to view your "recent" in particular, as in recent activity totals. Instead, you have to go through this entire process after saving. Also, there's no easy way to scroll through activities. If I wanted to compare today with yesterday, I would have to step back from today and find yesterday. I know it's just a matter of preference and ultimately doesn't affect the quality of the watch, but I wish the UI was friendlier. It is big. I would say it covers most of my wrist. I don't like Garmin's stance, which seems to adopt the colors for women in their GPS watches (purple and pink), especially in this case with the super loud purple. It would be nice to have more custom straps instead of non-original ones. The biggest downside I have relates to the heart rate monitor. For the most part it works fine, but: 1) If you read the fine print, it says it needs to be wet to work properly. 2) If you put the device on the band upside down (so that the hook is to the left of your body), it will not work properly. It should have a hook on the right side. 3) The hook opens downwards. It often gets out of hand for me. This is very annoying. 4) The elastic is very thin and wrinkled. He's not feeling well. Honestly, this is the bane of my existence. I have to wear it again and again. But I won't give it up because measuring is important in my workouts and I love tracking my heart rate. My old Garmin 105 had a much sturdier monitor on a tougher plastic strap that was never opened. I haven't researched if there are other options but I would say the strap on this one sucks and if you can find a stiffer and more durable rubber strap that will hold it together better I would give it a try.
