The most pleasant thing about this purchase is that we can now see from corner to corner in the attic. It used to be difficult to maneuver in our attic. Keep a flashlight in hand, because the small bulb above the attic exit only illuminated the entrance. With the installation (unscrew and screw in the old bulb) of this new LED downlight, the entire attic will be bright. You no longer need to carry a flashlight, giving you two hands for what needs to be done. I know they are called garage lights. but if you have ever tried walking through a dark attic you would call them attic lights!
