I have a German Shepard and a Lab. It has been so rainy and muddy lately that I was mopping several times a day. I found these on Walmart and read the reviews and decided to give them a try. I was very pleasantly surprised, they actually work. The trick is to get your dogs to walk on them but if you do it absorbs most of the moisture and mud off the bottom of their feet. I keep treats by the door and make them sit on the carpet when they come in so the rug actually has time to absorb what they are bringing in. These are very similar to bath mats I've seen in Home Goods and I would like a few more so I checked H.G.'s. Their prices were comparable but they did not have rubber on the bottom. I came back here and ordered two more. The dogs seem to like laying on them as much as their beds.
