it does its job and is a good anti-theft device and limits the possibility of bike theft

as described. While not the most secure bike lock, unlike a secure U-lock, it does the job and is a good theft deterrent and limits simple bike theft. I prefer this key style as it's easier to unlock than a combo. You don't need a key to lock it just to open it.
