I'll get straight to the point. It is my strong belief that these boots are fake. 1st and foremost, they smell like feces. I can't imagine why but they do. They do fit like the real boot and the leather is similar but I cannont imagine going out with anything on my body that smells like this. And according to the other reviews the heel my fall apart. This is not at all the nature of the real boots at all. I ordered these to replace my old pair which lasted for 4 years with frequent use and they still look good. I ordered the original pair from Bloomingdales for $595, pricey But the fit of this boot is everything they can be dressed up and the leather version will last for years without showing any wear & tear. I suggest you order from a reputable source. I've seen the suede ones at neimans outlet on sale and they are authentic. -don't do it
