I've tried two different high-end Thunderbolt docks, including the highly acclaimed CalDigit TS3; However, this thing knocks every other docking station on the head. In contrast, CalDigit TS3 barely worked for me. All his work was highly contradictory; His problems included the failure of various links and the general drop in performance on many ports. the best and it's definitely worth every penny. Also, I actually bought two! One for each laptop replacing a desktop. Even more positively, unplugged CalDigit TS3, no video dropouts so far, no audio issues when plugging my wireless headphones into either USB port, no internet dropouts, no compatibility issues. This device definitely takes advantage of Thunderbolt 3 technology with no hiccups and I highly recommend it! You must try this. In my opinion, once you try it, you'll agree that this device sets the bar for all Thunderbolt 3 docking stations. It's solidly constructed of metal and doubles as a laptop lift! I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this dock. However, if anything changes I will let everyone know through this review. Hooray!
