I didn't have any particularly smelly areas to test it on so didn't know how to know if it was working or not. I wanted fresh air more than anything, but I also read that it helps with dust, which I could certainly use some help with! It was a much cheaper option than many of the others I was considering, so I was pretty skeptical. I chose the corner of my house where I have the most dust problems. After a few weeks of use, I can say that the dust has become a lot less! Something is still there, of course, but less is fantastic. I've also noticed an increase in the bottom which leads me to believe it does exactly what it says it does. He picked up some dust from the air and dumped it on the floor (not on tables, shelves, etc.) for easy vacuuming. This device is very easy to use. It's fairly compact but sticks out about 2.5 inches. So keep that in mind if you have a very compact space. I don't normally hear any noise from it, but I've found that it can be heard when you get very close or when something is in front of the exit room. The blue light is on all the time so you know it's on. It doesn't seem too bright, but it's not really where I would notice. It comes with a nice little travel bag if you want to take it with you everywhere. I think this product is definitely worth trying!
