What the hell is that color?

Started out great, then not so good anymore. They changed color themselves about two minutes after the first ride. Then it went on to a very dim, multi-colored, half-lit situation. Strange. If it was just one set I would have thought it was just a bad set but I bought two sets for both of our bikes and they both did the same thing. Unfortunately I had to send them back. Now I'm afraid to buy others.
