I received the device today and it worked fine at first. I connected it to wifi and set a schedule to turn it on at 5pm when it gets dark. The device was not turned on, although it was obviously connected to the network, and an hour after I connected it to WiFi, I received a warning from the TuyaSmart application that the device was offline. I went down and checked it and it was very warm and wouldn't turn on at all whether I used the remote or the switch on the unit. I turned it off and waited an hour but it still wouldn't turn on and got very hot again. I wouldn't buy this unit again for fear of starting a fire as it appeared to have burned out and wasn't even on, just plugged in.
