Perfect for traveling light

I bought this from a luggage/travel store in a mall a few years ago. This case is perfect for traveling. I keep my most important things in this business card holder, so it's all I need to have in my bag when I'm on my way to the airport. This allows me to quickly overcome any obstacles at the airport (when I can easily pull out my TSA or CC ID to pay for baggage check). I can also just grab this when I rush to the store if I don't feel like lugging the whole bag around. (I keep extra items in a separate small purse that I carry with me when needed, or carry with me if I use a large purse). At first it had a strong smell, but after a while this smell disappeared. Compartment holds: 6 plastic cards (health insurance, car insurance, bank/CC etc.) plus some cash (a few folded bills). I have to say the main compartment is very narrow when new, but over time you should be able to easily fit more cards/cash. And although the valve cover is not secured in any way (no latch or magnet), I have NO issues with things slipping out. I took off a star because I can't put a few coins in this cardholder. There used to be a similar Eddie Bauer cardholder that was basically the same size except it had a zipper on one side. It was made of the same lightweight material, so I could store the same essentials in it, plus a few scattered coins. Eddie Bauer's card holder would be perfect if it had RFID blocking. Haven't found an Eddie Bauer-like RFID case that I have yet - now this would be the perfect case for me. At the moment I find the RFID blocking feature very desirable after encountering credit card scams where I kept my credit card in a regular wallet with no RFID blocking. I cannot claim the effectiveness of Travelon's RFID blocking feature in this case, but FWIW, my credit cards have not been fraudulently charged since they were placed in this RFID blocking case. I have a separate small purse for storing coins and a few folded bills. I let this purse float freely in my wallet. The Travelon RFID card holder with essentials is safely tucked away in the zip pocket of my purse. This way I don't have to worry about my essentials (ID, CC, etc.) accidentally falling out of my wallet as replacing those essentials would be a hassle. I don't mind if a wallet with some cash falls out of my wallet. I also have another very compact wallet/case for carrying non-essential items (loyalty cards, library card etc) which is less critical in case of loss. I just bought a second Travelon RFID card holder for my husband. He is very happy with the compact size of this card case and has downsized his double wallet.
