I was skeptical about this product but needed something reasonably priced to take our older Jack Russell camping. It didn't disappoint. The hooks held up well in the trees, and the length was more than enough to keep them close to camp and have enough freedom to explore and interact with us, our friends, and their dogs. Quick tip: hooks are a bit tricky to screw deep into the wood so make sure you have a ratchet or something strong going through the handles to ensure a tight fit. You may also need to adjust the leash to make it tighter. But that's a minor inconvenience.
