Review on ⛳ Spectra Golf Balls with Zero Friction by Ryan Fuhrer

Appearances are deceptive.

Another review for golf balls. First I wanted to try the matte golf ball as I like Volvik Vivids but they are really expensive for what you get. I bought it on sale for $17.99 so the price was right. Outside of the packaging, the Spectras are some gorgeous golf balls that I was dying to try. However, after a few laps with them, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a bit disappointed. I wanted to like them, but found them to be at least 10-12 yards shorter than the E-6s I've been playing lately. They're definitely not that straight and I found the balls wildly inconsistent. I had no control over her off the tee, on the green, or with irons. I usually shoot in the low to mid 80's but on the last round I was 14 in the top 9! I got so frustrated that I started playing the Nike PD Soft I found on the turn and ended up saving on day 92. I don't normally lose a single golf ball per round, but with the Spectras I somehow managed to lose six golf balls in two and a half rounds. I gave the rest to a friend who plays everything. My general assessment is that if you don't care about the bill and just want to have a beer and enjoy the day, fine. They will work (but there are cheaper balls). However, if you want to keep your golf score without spending a lot of money on premium TP5 or Pro V1 golf balls, I suggest you look at Noodles, Q-Stars or something similar.
