Very sharp blades. I bought a planer blade to use in my own cane cutter and it works really well. It's very strong and doesn't bend when I'm cutting mokume gane. The hand blade is great for most purposes, but I find it harder to use in Mica Shift and Hidden Magic techniques. For this I need a very thin flexible blade (I confess I don't have very strong hands so I need forgiveness in my blades). I noticed a tiny spot or two of rust on my handy blade (I've only had it for about 3-4 weeks). I only use baby wipes to clean my blades and always wipe them down with a dry paper towel,
