Great packaging. I honestly thought I was buying a curling iron so I was surprised when I opened it up. However, I'm all for trying new things, so I watched 3 tutorial videos to learn how to use it. First, I have very layered hair. Second, it's a few inches below my shoulders. For these two reasons, no matter how hard I tried, I had no opportunity to curl my hair like those who conducted the classes did. They had long hair and were beginning to curl at least halfway. With layers, I could only curl my hair once or even twice, and then - I had to raise my hands so close that I burned myself three times. one of them is very bad. By holding the wand down and trying to curl the shorter hair, your hands and wrists are very close to the wand. The burn on my wrist is over an inch wide and about 2 inches long. It will leave a scar. Maybe I'm old-fashioned, but I'd do better with a simple curling iron.
