Looks cool but is so easy to remove

I bought this net for my '89 Jeep Wrangler. Easy to attach with velcro straps and looks very cool. But when I'm driving it seems to loosen and sink easily, which is annoying when driving. I'm wondering if that's because I mount it to my handlebars without the cloth covering that most jeeps have? Anyway, it doesn't do what it's supposed to. I'll try putting the roll bar covers back on and strapping them back on to see if they fit better and don't come off easily.
