Prickly to the touch and falls apart too quickly

I received two of each color in my order (2 pink, 2 purple, 2 green and 2 blue). I thought these sponges would be good for my kids. They're a decent size and lather well, but they're a little scratchy and my kids prefer something softer. We already had a sponge that fell apart after a few uses. I've bought better sponges from Target and Walmart. I will not buy these again.
