The product is uncomplicated. It has two main buttons. The lower one I call a warning, and the upper one I call nobody-nobody. It has 3 frequency settings on the side. My dog responds better to the first. They say turn it on after a while. I have a Great Dane, you are still in the puppy stage. She eats and chews everything and loves to sleep on the couch. Our sofa is leather, but she thinks it's a chew toy. I tried it when I saw her on the couch. I told her to come down. She doesn't. So I hit the usual horn button and told me to lie down. She stayed where she was. Then I press the frequency button while repeating "go down". She heard a noise and immediately got off! When I see her chewing on my shoes. I repeat with a warning and then follow. It's definitely stopping her. It's a blessing because I don't like shock collars. So far this device is saving my house! So I definitely recommend this product. I will update to see how well it holds up a charge and future use.
