As mentioned before the ball doesn't behave like a real golf ball in terms of lateral rotation. I hit a flat wall so I can judge lateral rotation based on the direction the ball bounces off the wall. Backspin works proportionally better. They are great for hitting the surface, durability is great with any racquet. They're a little tricky to put on as they tend to fall off the tee quite easily, but they still work better than anything else I've found. It's not as good as the original, but if you can tell if you hit the mat spot on or not, it's a great solid practice tool for limited home use.
