Review on MEALGUET by Chris Morales

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Review: It pains me to say this, but my experience with MEALGUET did not live up to the high expectations I had going into it. There is much room for improvement. After hearing so many positive things about their online store, I couldn't wait to take a look at it for myself. But when I finally got around to looking around, I was fairly dissatisfied.

To begin, although they do have a respectable assortment of clothing, footwear, and jewelry, there was nothing there that particularly caught my attention. I had hoped to find some one-of-a-kind pieces that stood out and caught my attention, but everything seemed to be fairly standard. And despite the fact that their prices are reasonable, as advertised, I can't help but question whether or not you get the value that you pay for. The quality of the items I purchased was fairly poor; they were made of thin fabrics and inexpensive metals, and none of them appeared to be durable enough to withstand more than a couple of uses. Last but not least, the customer support was satisfactory. I had some inquiries regarding the measurements, and while they did get back to me in a fairly timely manner, I didn't get the impression that they made any special efforts to ensure that I was satisfied with the product that I had purchased. Overall, I don't believe I'll be returning to MEALGUET any time soon for any of my shopping needs. Although it's not a terrible internet store, for some reason I was expecting it to be even better than it was.

Pros
  • Good variety of clothing, jewelry, and shoes
Cons
  • fewer size choices
