I love these pocket watches, they look great, they are great value, they keep time PERFECTLY and the batteries last forever. The dial cover isn't glass, it's plastic, but I don't mind, you don't get luxury for $12: Pi wore it to junior prom and then again, 4 months later, to high school prom, and its time has come everything was fine and the battery was still working, i checked again in the middle of summer. and the time was still correct (technically an hour off, but that's only due to Daylight Saving Time :p) and the same battery still worked. The pocket watch is very specific to the occasion and I knew I wouldn't wear it often so I decided not to buy an expensive watch, I'm totally happy with this purchase, everyone loves it. The only downside I can think of is that the circle at the top (which the Cain also connects) when flipped on the front doesn't allow the lid to close completely, which isn't really a problem, and it's a bit smaller is than I thought but I would have known if I had read the measurements before I bought it: the pits are small, sturdy and overall well made, for $12 you absolutely can't go wrong with this watch I'll give her 4 stars just because it's a cheap pocket watch, it would be unfair to give her 5 stars when there are $500 pocket watches out there lol. but if you're looking for a cool little pocket watch and don't need a good one, this is definitely for you. I would pay $30 for a watch of this quality, it's durable, battery efficient, keeps great time and looks great, comes with 2 hours. batteries, and they're underrated. If you want one of these, I strongly encourage you to stop thinking about it and buy it now!
