We have bought them 3 times.

It is not clear why the smell rating, we have no smell. If you don't know what kawaii squishes are, don't buy them. left horrible oily stains on everything they touched and it's not! I bought these for my first graders and they love them so much we put them in Easter treats for my daughter's kindergarten class and in eggs for the neighborhood egg hunt. slightly sticky, they are men in being. They are also very easy to clean. As for her painted features, yes they're coming off, but they're still very cute and soft and cute. I buy our 4th (mini set) and 1st (large set) for Easter baskets and as a treat for our 2 year old girl she refuses a binky every night!
