I don't understand how anyone can give less than five stars. I'm a kitchen and culinary snob. I noticed several others saying the same thing, thinking they looked cheap. They are made by Scanpan, a very expensive company. If you look at Scanpan you will see that they have the best selling and most expensive harness. I used to love their stuff and used to spend money to buy a frying pan here and there. When I saw they were made by Scanpan I knew they were good quality. They cut amazingly well! You survived too. You have to hand wash them, but it's worth it. I use these knives every day and they still look new, not cheap at all. If they ever show signs of wear I will be back to buy more. I love her.
