Im impressed with this box. I was happy to see that it came with all the cords I needed, but I was even more impressed that I didn't need a power cord! It seems like something in my configuration is powering the box via HDMI. I've hooked it up to a Toshiba TV, an Apple TV, and a gaming PC, so one of those devices should be powering it via HDMI as it will work without the power cord plugged in. The picture quality is excellent, as if I had connected my devices directly to the TV. The only minor flaw with the device is that when I turn on the Apple TV and turn on the gaming PC, after about 45 minutes, when the Apple TV goes to sleep, the TV also turns off. I have to turn off my Apple TV and then switch to a gaming PC to prevent this. I was probably hoping that the box would prevent the Apple TV's shutdown signal from reaching my TV when another device was in use. This is a great budget HDMI switcher that suits my needs perfectly.
