the skirt is very cute! I've wanted a tulle skirt for a long time! I wore it to a banquet with a tucked in black high collar shirt and got lots of compliments. (Hint: Unless you're super tall and skinny, and even then you might want to wear heels with it). The color is comparable to the color of my youth ballerinas - light pink. Corresponds pretty much to the picture. The reason the star was deducted is because the fabric underneath the tulle is a simple layer of cotton. I originally bought this skirt as a costume for my ballet audition. The cotton doesn't stretch enough to move much so I made two slits on the sides. While most people won't want to do the kicks and turns in this skirt, I found it worth mentioning. Secondly, you should know that there are two layers of tulle on top and one layer of the aforementioned cotton on the bottom, and you may need nude or light-colored spandex shorts or a jumpsuit underneath. It's a bit see-through!
