I bought this product because I thought it would help reduce curling time with a manual rotary roller. I admit that the curls turned out perfect every time. But I had some issues that made the cost of the curling iron not worth the purchase. I've read other reviews and many have said they leave weird ripple marks. This only happens when the rotation is wrong. Watching product videos and manuals beforehand helped a lot. The problem I kept having though was I did two full turns and then the clip seemed to slip off and let go of my hair and it just fell off the wand. I kept trying, thinking it was my method, but the clamp creaked and it happened almost every time. I would not recommend this product for thick hair either. I was lucky when the curls even lasted all day. So I would say that the name is not very appropriate for the product.
