It rolls very smoothly. You don’t need to press hard to ensure that it is doing it’s job. You’re not supposed to press this in too deeply. I use this in conjunction with a 5% minoxidil solution. I am growing hair in places I haven’t had hair in years. I can feel the stubs in an area that was completely smooth. I recommend this especially if you are just starting to lose your hair.
