This cord lubricant worked like clockwork. I have an old 1985 Honda Elite CH250 that had a squeaky speedometer cable and had a lot of plastic on it which made the cable as a whole not as easy to remove and lube as it is on a motorcycle. The guide was great with clear steps. Step by step photos how to mount it on the cable. The hardest part was getting to the top end of the speedometer cable (see picture), but once I got there and tightened it up, I simply unhooked the bottom end of the cable from the wheel and sprayed it with a white spray of lithium grease. . The internal speedometer wire popped out of the sleeve a foot before the pressure, and then I just kept spraying until grease came out the other end. Plugged cord back in, plugged back in, and it was like new. Highly recommend if you have a hard-to-reach or hard-to-reach cable that needs lubrication!
