Unfortunately I cannot comment on the performance of this 1TB HP SSD drive as the seller incorrectly stated compatibility with my HP 15-ef1003ds laptop. Of the many times I've had to reinstall and disassemble my laptop, the ease of insertion and removal was remarkable. I'm sure if it was compatible with my model it would work perfectly. My only concern is that the lifetime usage rating seems a bit low for its size, and I suspect you're better off looking elsewhere if you're doing a lot more than storing lots of lesser-used files. with a longer service life and is designed for intensive use when transferring files or constantly accessing them. Again, this is just a guess on my part as I had to send it back.
