This shirt is very cute and looks great as part of my dog's costume. Luckily I read the reviews about the sizes. I ordered XL for my 27lb french bulldog. The measurements said to order XL due to the size of his neck. But you wouldn't think of a Frenchie as an XL dog. So I recommend that you measure your dog and stick to the size chart, not what you think it should be. I would never have thought of ordering an XL for my dog. His neck may be XL, but the rest of him certainly isn't. It was just a little long for him. He definitely couldn't wear clothes of a different size. Aside from the size, the material is nice and well made.
