CEP vs. 2XU. - Exercise & Fitness

First of all I'm not a runner but an avid hiker in the Sierra mountains and compression stockings are needed for swelling. They are very comfortable to wear. compared to the 2XU brand which is the first brand I bought. I bought 2 pairs of CEPs and 2 pairs of 2XUs before deciding which one worked best. I will keep everything as I can still use it, but all further purchases are CEP. Both brands work well with some notable differences. Compression stockings are difficult to put on most of the time, but once you put them on you feel comfortable. (Ask your local sports doctor for an "easy" way to put them on by turning them inside out to the heel first.) CEP brand socks are easier to put on than 2XU. CEP socks are thinner and offer good compression even without a top. a sock that "squeezes" the ring around the bottom of the knee like the 2XU brand did. (The 2XU brand supports well but has a much tighter upper than the CEP brand. Both CEP and 2XU were the same size, XL on 2XU, size IV on CEP, at a 17-inch calf.) Both brands held mine swelling back. Try it hiking or climbing, and no pair rides through a rough climb, but the CEP brand is far more comfortable at the end of the day. The 2XU brand is a lot harder to take off than the CEP brand after a hike or hard work in the front yard. (Yes, the yard is a steep hill, too.) The CEP brand seems cooler than the 2XU, perhaps because they're a little less grippy. CEP is made from polyamide and elastane instead of nylon and elastine for 2XU (which might be the same as additional brands), but CEP is more flexible. The CEP brand is more expensive and that's one of the reasons I look at other brands, but I guess (as the old saying goes) you get what you pay for. .Now I wear them to work and hiking almost all day every day. Both brands have performed well and I have no more cramps afterward. r long hike with each brand. However, as mentioned, I will pay a few bucks more for the CEP brand in the future as they fit me better.
