They are very sturdy and easy to install from the back. The front has a 1 inch bar that makes it impossible to install from the front without cutting it and I have a feeling this would ruin it. I installed them over the plastic rock guards and used the same screws that came with the truck. I further inserted the third screw to make it more stable. I didn't have to take the tires off. I spent most of my time looking for the best place to punch holes in fenders. For the 2nd fender I simply used the 1st as a template and it only took 10 minutes. Be sure to take the 11" as the 15" is smaller. Now all I have to do is look ahead.
