I had a set of Bose noise-cancelling headphones and they weren't that good at blocking outside noise; and this one too. You can still hear the noise around you. I use them to muffle distracting noises while meditating. They ensure excellent "spatial sound” when listening to music. They are of good quality and you can either use the bluetooth or plug them in. They even have a USB device to receive audio from non-Bluetooth devices, but I've only tried that out a bit on my old Dell computer. It seems to work fine, but I just connect them. It is easier. I like the tote bag. It has a pocket for storing a USB device. It will come in handy when traveling. I've had them for a few months. I would buy them again.
