These shoes look very good for the price and will work depending on how they are used. My son will wear them to his school choir performances. They run about 1/2 to 1 size. My son normally wears a size 6-1/2 to 7 tall boy but with these shoes he fits perfectly in a size 6 tall boy. They are roomy on my son's narrow foot but go well with thick socks. I think most people won't have this problem. The shoes look very grown up and not childish according to my 10 year old son. There is a tiny defect, it looks like a piece of rubber on the sole was cut or torn off, but it's barely noticeable, so we'll deal with that. (see fig.). Overall we are happy with these shoes. My son loves them and is picky. You look good; Comfortable on my son's feet, with plenty of room for toes; and the price was right. 4 stars.
